Location
This is a desk-researched listing. A record update or map check does not confirm current swimming permission or water conditions.

This regional entry is not one swimming hole with one entrance. Kelly Park and Wekiwa Springs are independent options with different operators. The archived directions are incomplete, so this review does not claim to reconstruct the original two locations. The former town-level pin has been removed.
The county page says tickets are online-only and may be purchased up to 30 days ahead. Its waterfront closes an hour before the park. Rent a tube outside the park before entering or bring an allowed float; there is no re-entry. Check posted equipment limits before purchase.
The state's reservation guidance requires a separate day-use booking, including for annual passholders. It describes bookings up to 60 days ahead, with same-day availability only while capacity remains. Do not assume a pass or an early arrival replaces the reservation.
Wekiwa's swimming guidance limits swimming to the spring area and prohibits it in Wekiwa Springs Run, Rock Springs Run and the Wekiva River under that park's rules. This should not be misread as a ban on Kelly Park's designated tubing area. Kelly's Camp Joy canoe/kayak launch has its own no-swimming restriction.
Check each operator's current services. Wekiwa's amenities page describes day-use changing rooms and restroom access. Ask about the assistance your group needs rather than assume all springs have identical entrances or equipment.
Reviewed October 9, 2026. Kelly's page was read directly; Wekiwa information came from official indexed excerpts because direct requests failed. These sources support planning distinctions, not confirmation of same-day swimming access. No new gallery or surveyed entrance is supplied.
Kelly Park: 400 E. Kelly Park Road, Apopka, FL 32712. Wekiwa: 1800 Wekiwa Circle, Apopka, FL 32712. Choose a named entrance before navigation; no single regional pin is provided.
Kelly tickets: OCPORTAL.net, online-only. Wekiwa requires day-use reservations, including annual passholders. Confirm current availability with the relevant operator.
Confirm the entrance, parking arrangements, and legal access with the land manager. A map pin does not establish a public right of access. Follow posted routes and never block gates or driveways.
Current swimming permission has not been independently confirmed for this listing. Check official rules, fees, hours, and closures before visiting. Public park access does not necessarily include permission to swim. Respect private property and posted restrictions.
Water conditions can change quickly. This listing does not provide a current safety or water-quality assessment. Check official alerts and avoid entering water when conditions or permission are uncertain.
Bring sturdy water shoes to protect your feet on rocks and slippery surfaces. A waterproof dry bag keeps your phone, keys, and valuables safe. Pack a quick-dry towel, sun protection, and drinking water - never drink from the natural water source.
Nearby places from saved public map data, not necessarily facilities at the swimming spot. Confirm access, hours, fees, and amenities with the operator before you drive.
